Photo Exhibition “Philippines and Russia: inSIGHTS”

Photographic images captured by the Philippine’s leading lensmen and Russia’s top photographers will be put on
display in the Philippine-Russian Photo Exhibition 21-24 October 2010 at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC)
in Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines.

The Photo Exhibition dubbed “Philippines and Russia: inSIGHTS” is among the major components of the 2nd
Philippine – Russian Business Forum (PRBF) will serve as an educational point of exchange of cultural and psychological backgrounds of both countries.

The program of this grandiose 4-day event, with the theme “Moving Forward Together”: Philippine – Russian Business Forum,
Philippine – Russian Trade Exhibition, Philippine – Russian Art Exhibition, Philippine – Russian Photo Exhibition. Business Sessions
and Round Table Discussions will be specialized for each of the industries, including real estate, energy, mining, business process
outsourcing, tourism, trade. The Forum Participants will also be toured to the major sites of the island of Cebu and to the factories
of the largest companies to demonstrate the manufacturing facilities, as well as to showcase projects of major real estate developers.

The Forum will be attended by major political figures and businessmen from Russia and the Philippines. Participation of the Government
and business delegations from all over Russia especially from Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Far Eastern Region are expected. The Forum
provides unique opportunities for international networking, trade and investment, industry-specific talks, business partnerships.

“We hope the Photo Exhibition will help us expand trade and commercial relations by increasing understanding between Russia and the
Philippines, to improve cultural and economic ties of our countries” said Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in the Republic
of the Philippines Armi Lopez Garcia and President of the Philippine- Russian Business Assembly (PRBA).

Philippine-Russia Business Assembly (PRBA) is the principal organization that drives business relations between the Republic of the
Philippines and the Russian Federation. The flagship project of the Philippine – Russian Business Assembly (PRBA),
Philippines – Russia Business Forum, was launched in 2009. Keynote speaker of the Forum 2009 was then President of the Republic of the
Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Organizers dubbed the exhibit “Philippines & Russia inSIGHTS” as “insight”, in marketing, means a deep understanding of the
target consumers, attitudes and beliefs leading to the achievement of the objective.

“To successfully do business with other countries, you need to understand their culture, psychology and mentality. This
is the main objective of the cultural program of the Business Forum – Photo Exhibition” said Tania Arkhangel’skaya,
2nd Philippine – Russian Business Forum (PRBF) Culture Committee member.

Leading the cast of Filipino photographers who have already signified their participation in the exhibit are: Bob Lim,
Edwin A. Martinez, Erwin T. Lim, Jan Gonzales, John Chua, Jon Unson, Joseph Ong, Lito Sy, Raul Arambulo, Rene Araneta.

Some of these well-known lensmen will also give students, enthusiasts, and hobbyists a lecture on photography at the Art
Studio of the CICC.

Top Russian photographers participating in the exhibit are: Alexander Efremov, Alexandra Kallistova, Andrey Ilinsky,
Andrey Lysikov, Denis Tarasov, Dmitry Nezhdanov, Eduard Krank, Evgenia Guhman, Evgeniy Globenko, Evgeny Molodtzov, Igor Egorov,
Julia Vedernikova, Luisa Geltz, Nina Troitskaya, Katerina Man’shine, Konstantin Kokoshkin, Maria Pavlova, Nick Degtyarev, Oleg Astahov,
Olga Mazlova, Roman Nikulin, Sergey Romanov, Sergey Ivanov, Timur Dui, Yuri Borisov.

The 2nd Philippine-Russian Business Forum is organized by the Philippine-Russia Business Assembly (PRBA)
and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Province of Cebu and the Department of Tourism.

The Philippine Exhibits and Themeparks Corp. is co-organizing the event in association with the City of Mandaue,
Department of Trade and Industry, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cebu Business Club, Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, Cebu FAME, Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, and the Cebu Gifts, Toys and Housewares (GTH).
