About the Prbai
The Philippine-Russian Business Assembly is the principal organization that drives business relations between the Philippines and the Russian Federation. We boost business by bringing governments, business chambers and individuals together. Our aims include tourism and trade promotion, investments, business matching, business education, and lobbying for concrete policies and protocols that improve the business relationship between both countries.
The PRBA was founded in 2009, with the objective of improving Philippine-Russian business ties, providing new opportunities and opening new markets. Since then we have hosted 2 successful international business fora at the Cebu International Convention Center, and created countless other business linkages through our support of inter-chamber memoranda, sisterhood agreements between Philippine and Russian cities, individual business matching, tourism seminars and trade missions to Russia. We have represented major Philippine export groups seeking to penetrate the Russian market.
Today there is a large trade gap between Russia and the Philippines. We hope to be able to narrow that gap through our tourism-trade-investment scheme: a synergistic cross-promotion using tourism as a vehicle for trade and investment.
