2010 Philippine-Russian Business Forum and Exhibition

With the theme "Moving Forward Together", the 2nd Philippine-Russian Business Forum and Exhibition paved the way for greater understanding of Philippine and Russian business protocols, attitudes and opportunities. Industry-specific talks were held throughout the 4-day event, from October 21-24, 2011. Launching ceremonies were highlighted by the inauguration of Leo Tolstoy's bust at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC), as a symbolic gesture of Philippine-Russian cultural ties. Main plenary sessions featured resource speakers from Philippine and Russian big business, tackling key points of interest such as investment protocols, trade between the two countries, hospitality, BPO, real estate, mining, retirement, import-export, manufacturing and tourism industries. A simultaneous grand exhibition of different Philippine companies and products was held at the same venue. The event ended with a tour of manufacturing facilities in Cebu Province.
